Epistle to RiverStone March 5, 2026

Hello Church Family,

What does it mean for the Church to be Unstoppable?

This past Sunday we looked at Paul’s journey to Rome in Acts 27-28. We learned that the Church faced persecution and false prophets, the leaders were stoned, the leaders were jailed, shipwrecked and had false information thrown at them. But yet in the midst of all the difficulties that the early church went through, the Church still grew. God’s message of redemption through Jesus Christ continued to go forward. The truth of who Jesus Christ is and what he has done continued to go forward. Healings continued to occur, people continued to be freed of demons, and God was glorified.

In 2026 we face some of the same challenges that Paul and other members of the Early Church faced. There are false prophets all around us, false information being thrown at the church and groups perverting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. How do we continue to stay faithful in the midst of all the uncertainty around us? We have to continue to spend time in prayer, reading God’s word and in fellowship with each other as we grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Who is the one person you need to share the gospel message with this week? Who’s the one person you need to invite to church. Just remember you have been called by God and sent out into the world to be His witnesses. Go forth knowing that through the power of the Holy Spirit you can boldly proclaim the truth of the faith.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Jeremy
