Hello Church Family,
This past Sunday we had a meeting after worship to discuss the “State of the Church.” 2025 ended up being a good year for the church and the church is financially healthy. We have great ministries that are reaching lots of people for Jesus.
I also shared my vision for RiverStone Church. Below is what I shared with everyone who was there.
I want RiverStone Church to be:
- A House of Prayer Acts 2:42
- A Sending Church Acts 13, Jesus sending the 70
- A Missional Church Acts 16-26
- An Inviting Church 2 Corinthians 5:16-21
- A Loving Church 1 Corinthians 13:1-13
- A Growing Church Book of Acts
- A Church that reflects our community. Revelation 7:9
- Most importantly a church that is led by the Holy Spirit Acts 2
This can’t be accomplished by one person. We can only be this type of church through dedicating ourselves to prayer and listening to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Spend some time during this season of Lent to pray and fast for our church. Pray for the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us. Pray for people to come to our church and for them to hear the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray for lives to be transformed and changed at our church. Pray for us to be a church that is known for preaching the truth of the gospel, welcoming all people, caring for each other and inviting others to join us as we grow in faith together.
