Simplicity

Richard Foster describes simplicity as "an inward reality that results in an outward life-style." In Matthew 6, Jesus asks a hard question: what do we really value? He reminds us that we cannot serve both God and money, and he invites us to store up treasure in heaven instead of on earth. Simplicity frees us from anxiety about what we'll eat or wear. It helps us trust our heavenly Father and put him first.
