Faith Renewed: Prayer
We open the Faith Renewed series by asking God to revive, restore, and reestablish our trust in Him, His Word, and His Church. Isaiah 56 declares that God's house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples, gathering in the very people who assumed they had no place at His table. Jesus echoes that promise in the temple, confronting a people who had turned a house of prayer into something else entirely. Prayer was central to the early church in Acts 2, woven through the Psalms, and modeled by Jesus Himself — including the prayer He taught His disciples, worth praying slowly rather than from memory. The closing challenge is personal: what are we doing to make RiverStone a house of prayer, and how is God calling you to pray for this church?
