Epistle to RiverStone October 8, 2026

Hello Church Family,

We started a new sermon series this past Sunday, “You’re Never Too Far.” This series came out of lots of conversations with members of the church as people began to share their stories with me. When you meet someone for the first time, you get to know who they are today. It isn’t until you hear their story that you get to see who they used to be and understand how God has been working in their life.

When I was a kid growing up in church we used to have testimony time. People would share of their struggles in life and how God helped them overcome them. There were always stories of God’s faithfulness and the freedom that can be found through Jesus Christ. I was always amazed at the people who shared their testimonies. Most of them I never knew their story and how God had been working in their life and what their life was like before saying yes to following Jesus.

We have to be willing to share our testimonies more. We have to be willing to tell those around us what God has done in our life. If you feel the Holy Spirit prompting you to share your story with someone, do it. God could be using you as an example of a person who has been forgiven and saved by Jesus Christ. You may not know what that person is going through or what thoughts are in their head.

As we continue in this series, I pray that you are able to see that you are never too far from God. I pray that you share that with everyone you meet.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Jeremy
