Celebration

Celebration is central to the disciplines because joy in God gives energy to persevere in all the others. Foster portrays celebration as a deliberate, communal rejoicing in God’s goodness through worship, feasting, singing, and gratitude. Without celebration, the disciplines quickly become grim duties instead of life‑giving practices.
