RiverStone Church respects your privacy. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, and protect information related to our text messaging program.

Information We Collect
When you opt in to receive text messages, we may collect your mobile phone number, your name, the date and method of your opt-in, and your message preferences. We may also keep records of messages sent to you and replies you send to us, including opt-in and opt-out requests.

How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to:

  • Send you the church text messages you agreed to receive

  • Respond to your replies, questions, and HELP requests

  • Process opt-out (STOP) requests and keep a record of your consent

  • Keep our contact records accurate and up to date

How We Share Your Information
RiverStone Church does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We may share information only with service providers who help us operate the text messaging program (such as our text messaging platform), and only as needed to deliver messages. These providers are not permitted to use your information for any other purpose. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Access is limited to church staff and service providers who need it to operate the program.

How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your information while you are subscribed and for a reasonable time afterward to maintain records of consent and opt-out requests, or as required by law.

Your Choices
You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also contact the church office to update your information or ask that it be removed from our text messaging list.

Children's Privacy
Individuals under 18 should only opt in with permission from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has enrolled without permission, please contact us and we will remove the number.

Changes to This Privacy Statement
RiverStone Church may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
