Faith Renewed: Obedience
Being led by the Holy Spirit comes down to one word: obedience. Before Pentecost, the Spirit came upon particular people for particular moments; at Pentecost the Spirit filled the gathered believers with wind and fire and came to stay, guiding every follower of Jesus. In Acts 10, Peter's rooftop vision — "what God has made clean, do not call common" — is immediately followed by the Spirit telling him to go with three strangers without hesitation, and Peter's obedience opens the gospel to the Gentiles. As the series closes, we look back across prayer, multiplication, welcoming, growth, love, and community and ask the honest question: are we actually following where the Spirit is leading? Each of us is invited to name how we are listening to the Holy Spirit, and how RiverStone can listen together.
